Photography has played with my life since 1969 when I finished my time in the Peace Corps and started at Brooks Institute.
I moved to Washington D C to work as a printer for the Smithsonian Institution and over the years continued in various jobs within the Smithsonian, including photographing their gardens and the National Zoo.
For many years I shared a small studio in Washington D C and commuted to Rappahannock County on weekends, eventually moving there full time.
In 1984 my husband and I had a joint show in Washington, Va. in a gallery that eventually evolved into Middlestreet Gallery. In 2011 I joined Old Rag Gallery. Website: www.oldragphoto.com
